CTE TAY Hub Milestones

The CTE TAY Hub has two origin stories.  The first origin story began in 2014, when the Dewey Academy community and its supporters fought to keep Dewey Academy & 1025 2nd Avenue from being sold to luxury condominium developers.  The second origin story began in 2017, when young men detained at Camp Sweeney came up with an idea for a full-service re-entry support model that would help them overcome the 72% chance that they would be back in custody within two years of release.  Their vision eventually expanded to include other types of  TAY, and 1025 2nd Ave was identified as the ideal location.  Below are the major milestones for the project.
